Las Vegas Vacations
I've been to Vegas many times myself and usually stay on the main strip, but this last time we decided to stay downtown. And I have to be honest, I had one of the best times of my life. There was so much to do down their. There are many hotels to choose from downtown, but we stayed on Freemont street at the Fitzgerold and we had a blast. At night they put on a lazer show that is really fun to watch. They also have bands all the time down their, some bands are local and some bigger names such as Chicago. They as you would expect have something going on down their al the time. The bonus of staying downtown is that you don't have nearly the amount of people as you do on the strip. And of course you can still gamble. The casinos downtown don't have as many tables as the bigger casinos on the strip, but they do have all the popular table games. They have roulette, blackjack, three card poker and more as well as slot machines. Prices for the downtown casinos are also less expensive than the ones on the strip. And you can get pretty good deals on other things as well. And don't worry, if you are itching to get down to the main strip you can do so many different ways. You could take a taxi, but that can get expensive. The best way we found was to purchase a bus pass. For $2.50 you can buy a bus pass that is good for unlimited use for 24 hours. A Taxi will get you there faster but the bus is the way to go. Not only is it cheaper but you meet a lot of interesting and fun people. So the next time you consider taking a Vegas vacation keep in mind you can still have a good time for less money if you stay downtown with the main strip just a short bus ride away. GOOD LUCK at the tables.
Everyone likes going to Las Vegas, wheather it be for the site seeing or you have a few extra bucks in your pocket and your feeling lucky.
